Equipment Update

My Rogue Home Timer arrived today and it is perfect.  Getting the batteries in was a little weird, but hanging it and learning to work the remote was fun.  I am excited for the workout tomorrow.

Nutrition Update

It has been a little over 2 weeks since I have cut out snacking between meals and processed sugar (read snack cakes, cookies, cake, ice cream, etc) during meals.  It sucks feeling hungry, but it is not unbearable.  I have noticed my bowel habit have changed in that I am less gassy and have more firm stools.  As far as weight loss goes, I am down 5 pounds.  I think 2 pounds/week is aggressive and that pace should slow down to 0.5-1.0 pounds/week as my metabolism slows to conserve calories.  My lifestyle goal is to eat clean food and stick to natural sugar sources (read as fruit).  As an athlete, I would like to weigh 170 pounds, which would be 13% weight loss.  I think that weight would allow me to perform pull-ups, muscle-ups, hand stand push-ups and shave 25 seconds off of my mile time.
