I finally got around to listing the 50 pound ball for sale a few days ago. I listed for $40, but took a reasonable offer for $30. It is no fun losing money on something, but better to have cash in hand than having an item I don't need.

Dead Balls
After doing the Deka.Mile event in November, I started keeping my eyes open for heavy dead balls. As luck would have it, I found a Simpson's 50 pound ball for $50. As these are usually $60 to $85, I trekked up to Arvada to pick it up. The very next day, somebody in Lakewood listed a 55 pound ball for $20 and I went ahead and grabbed. Obviously, I do not need two, but held on to both anyway for a while.
