Grip Tools Wish List

I would be interested in these if not for the $72 FedEx International Shipping.  Try to find on GripBoard, eBay, Arm Assassins or Nemesis.

Nemesis is $52 for the Loonie, $22 shipping, $29 tariff.  Definitely need to learn to weld.

Half Penny is 1.5 mm to 2.0 mm.  Could fabricate from 16 gauge (1.5 mm) or 14 gauge (2.0mm) sheet steel.  Cut half penny.  Cut square or round base.  Weld to insert for open top (inside diameter, distance to through hole, through hold inside diameter. 

Dabloom (John Oka) was named for UK Keypincher Jerome Bloom.  Oka was fabricating about 5 years ago.  Stamped with serial number, customer, fabricators mark and location.

Should also consider 2.4-3.1 mm (0.095 - 0.122; 12 gage to 11 gage sheet steel) and 38.1 mm (1.5 inches) diameter to match Morgan Dollar.

Gorilla Strength Equipment Nickel Pinch

The gorilla strength is basically the exact design I came up with and they are able to deliver at a $19 price point.  I will be using a larger top plate and larger grip surface.  Hopefully, I could get them fabricated locally for $25 and sell for $35.  I still think a larger pinching surface will make for a better implement.

Grip Surface

• Grip surface 1.5 inch diameter (half moon)
• Stub length 1.62 inches long (pass through base plate and have 1.50 inches overhang
• Stub width 1.49 inches wide (to fit is 1.5" schedule 80 pipe (ID = 1.500") or 1.5" schedule 40 pipe (ID = 1.610")
• Open top pin hole 0.39 inch diameter (to take 3/8" clevis pin)

Plate 

• 3 inch x 3 inch square with 0.125 inch x 1.50 inch slot at center to accept grip surface or 4 inch x 4 inch
